Village Hall news

Carols on the Green
Dalton and Gayles were in good voice for this year's Carol singing. We moved indoors to the Village Hall because of the rain, but it didn't dampen spirits, and we enjoyed mulled wine and mince pies after the singing. A very happy Christmas to all, from the Village Hall Committee.

Duck race results
Duck race 1:
1st - Helen Fowler; 2nd - Christine Robson; 3rd Molly Brooks.
Duck race 2:
1st - Leo and Elodie Blosomworth, 2nd - Heather Roberts, 3rd - Colin Jackson.
The new Novelty Race was a big success, with Daniel Bunce’s “chin duck” beating the other floatable items including a plastic banana, floating grapes, and shampoo bottles.
